Job Purpose: To assist in the preparation and presentation of Western cuisine dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards and resort quality expectations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and direction from the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. Ensure mise-en-place is ready before each service. Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation specifications as per resort guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations. Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients. Support in minimizing waste and utilizing ingredients efficiently. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (culinary certification is an advantage). Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a five-star resort. Basic knowledge of Maldivian cuisine. Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn. Strong team spirit and flexibility in task handling. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
